  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. canning salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp. onion or garlic salt
  • 2 quarts unpared cucumbers, cut in 1/4" slices
 
Mix together all of the ingredients, except the cucumbers.  Do not heat.  Put cucumbers in clean jars.  Cover with the brine and refrigerate.  Good to eat in 5-6 days.  Lasts a long time in the refrigerator.
